Yes, the humble Brussels sprout has been enjoying a resurgence over the last few years, but there’s more to a great sprout dish than bacon (though yes, we’ll admit, this flavour soulmate does make an appearance or two below). We’re digging through our recipe database to find the best ways to put this hearty veg to work.
Crispy and savoury, these Brussels sprout chips are tossed in garam masala and tumeric, but it would be easy to update the flavour profile with other spices.
Crisp roasted potatoes make a more flavourful, defined salad than those that have been boiled; creamy Boursin melts just enough to coat them while they’re still warm. If you like, substitute a crumbled blue cheese, which will soften and add bursts of saltiness to complement the bacon and potatoes.
