Satisfy your inner bull rider with Ki Moderns new Calgary Stampede menu.
We know Japanese food isn’t the first thing that comes to mind for Calgary’s iconic week-long stampede, but one look at Ki Modern’s exclusive Stampede menu and you’ll change your mind before you can say wasabi.Ki Modern has crafted seven new menu items exclusively for the festivities. Our favourites? The Rodeo Roll of Fire—the name itself warrants a try—made with beef tenderloin, asparagus, shitake mushrooms, and chilli prawns (recipe here), and the Stampede Roll, made with Alaska king crab, cucumber, tobiko, and beef tataki. And as an added good-for-the-soul bonus, Ki will be donating $2 of each item sold during the Stampede to Ronald McDonald House Southern Alberta.
For more information visit their website or stop by their restaurant (open until 12 a.m.), located at the new Jamieson Building at 120 Jamieson Place, 308 4th Avenue SW.
