How designer Lynn Gentile transformed an awkward space into an intimate lounge for two.
When homeowners Gabrielle Weber and Iván Echeverría said they wanted a cozy and functional master suite, designer Lynn Gentile, knew exactly what to do. Instead of being limited by the awkward layout (the top floor of this luxe Whistler home is dominated by pitched ceilings and sharp angles), the Cabin Fever Interiors principal transformed the space into an intimate nook. Here, a green Togo sofa is tucked under the eaves, complimented by a built-in TV and Sub-Zero wine fridge. “It’s a little adult getaway,” says Gentile.
