During a recent WL Design Talks event with PlaidFox Studio, an audience member asked the interior design firm’s creative director, Ben Leavitt, how he knows when to “pull back” when it comes to bold, colourful design. His answer? “I don’t.” It was a refreshing take from a designer who consistently makes daring decisions that pay off spectacularly, and when I saw Vancouver-based Otto Studio’s new line of floor tiles, I was similarly inspired.
