Just because breakfast is the most important meal of the day doesn’t mean we have to make it complicated. Part of a 10,000-square-foot home in Victoria, we can assure you that the rest of the house is just as bright and airy.
Pops of yellow and blue really bring this cozy breakfast nook to life. Designed by Alison Connor and Aly Velji from Alykhan Velji Designs, this Calgary home plays with natural wood and colour and still maintains a sense of serenity across each room. Our last space is also designed by Calgary-based Alykhan Velji Designs (what can we say, he’s a nuts for nooks). This house combines warm brown tones with stained glass windows; the coziness extends into every corner. The family opted for this casual seating to allow their island to be used for storage.
